for use in applications from charging to maintaining small to medium sized batteries commonly used in; U.P.S. systems, storage of larger batteries, small mobility batteries, other non-seasonal and cold weather maintenance.BI-COLOUR LED DISPLAY: The first bi-coloured LED indicates yellow for 6 volt batteries and red for 12 volt batteries, the AC must be present. The second LED (yellow) indicates the charger in charge mode. The third and last bi-coloured LED indicates green when the charger reaches the float stage. The LED will not illuminate without AC present. BATTERY TYPES: Selectable via a switch for 12 volt or 6 volt lead-acid batteries. Recommended for charging batteries under 30Ah and maintenance of batteries larger than 30Ah. FULLY AUTOMATIC: Can be left connected to the battery indefinitely (only limited by life of battery) without overcharging. BACKUP PROTECTION: Reverse battery, short circuit, input overload, and over temperature. CHARGE PROFILE: 3 stage/level charge algorithm allows battery to reach its optimum charge while prolonging their life. Unit shuts down when battery is fully charged and automatically powers on when needed. REVERSED CONNECTION: The third LED is red when batteries are connected in reverse.
